Hello, I’m new to EZ Keys and diggin it a lot. One thing I haven’t found or don’t yet get is how to embellish a melody for a piano solo. I haven’t gotten into midi that deep either but I could manage to lay down a midi track for the melody. I just don’t quite know how to go about telling EZ Keys to take it from there.
You can also use EZKeys in standalone mode.
I also use the Studio Grand Piano, for example, and work a lot with midi files.
Wherever it says “Drag MIDI song blocks here” simply drag in the midi file (preferably just the desired track from the midi file)
and you can play it back and of course edit it. Musical greetings Peter Bengelmann
Is there a way that EZ Keys will embellish upon a single note melody and sort of play around with it? I’m no keyboard player. I guess I could do that in BIAB and just put those midi files into EZ.

Well yes and no. EZKeys simply follows the chord chart. It will not compose a melody. EZkeys needs the chords. But if you have the chords you can select a playing style and background from the avialable midi libraries, which will harmonically support/enhance the melody. Does that help?
