Will EZ 2 work on XP

I’ve been using EZ1 and SUperior on my XP PC for years. Can’t live without them. I’m on an HP PC, using XP SP3. I want to purchase EZ3, but the requirements don’t include XP. Will the new version work on the obsolite XP Operating system? Will my hundreds of session load up with automatic conversion to EZ2, or revert to EZ1?

EZD 2 has not been tested and does not support XP. EZD 1 projects will load and sound the same when opened in EZD 2.

XP is at ‘end of life’ for Microsoft. I’m sure it’s not a fun prospect to consider having to get a new computer in order to get Windows 7 or 8, but I’m sure your XP machine has served you well for many, many, many years now.
I just upgraded my iMac to the Maverick OS and that caused Logic Express 8 to stop working. I was somewhat forced into either buying a different package or upgrading to Logic X. While I didn’t like having to layout $199, I do think the redesigned software, ultimately, will make me more productive and help creativity. So I’m choosing to look at it as the technology company giving me a nudge. I still wished I didn’t have to spend $199, $99 or $49 would have been MUCH better, but it is what it is.

There are many great new PCs and laptops out there now that I’m sure will help your musical pursuits.

I actually bought my Mac at Guitar Center on their credit card. 0% interest over 12 months (they’ve even run that promotion over 18months in my area) so it ended up being about $100 a month for a brand new computer! Food for thought.
