Why MIDI blocks are merged during D&D to DAW?

Unfortunately, that is not possible (becuase of how DAWs works). DAWs (Reaper for example) can only import one MIDI blocka at a time, so if the user is dragging multiple MIDI blocks from EZkeys they have to be merged. So there is nothing we (or any other plug-in developers) can do about it…

I have to locate the part, then manually split the single MIDI block in 3 blocks, delete the incorrect one and replace with a new one.

Would be great of we could keep the MIDI blocks separated when dropping them in the DAW.

I understand your frustration. I was surprised when I first encountered this.
But then you’re only talking about 3 blocks.
Just drag each of the 3 blocks into Reaper one-at-a-time to keep them separated.

Or, just leave the blocks in EZKeys to play (and re-edit) from within your plugin.
(Assuming that you’re using EZKeys as a plugin within Reaper and not in standalone mode.)

No I’m not talking about 3 blocks. A typical song has >20 MIDI blocks.
When I drag & drop them there are all merged into a single MIDI block in the DAW.
Then if I want to change a bar in the DAW, I need to split the block in 3 parts (before the bar, the bar and after the bar).

    Yeah, I apologize.
    I misrepresented your illustration.
