I’ve attached a screenshot of what I’m doing below. I’m trying to drag and drop a drum groove from EZdrummer into Sonar x1 Studio. When I load EZdrummer into Sonar, I can play all the grooves and demo the kits just fine. All the meters in Sonar show that it recognizes the sounds. However, when I try to drag and drop a groove into Sonar, I can’t. I can’t even grab on to anything to drag. I’ve tried dragging an actual groove, as well as trying to grab it from down in the control section or whatever the area is called where you can open/close grooves. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I’m using the latest version of Sonar x1 Studio, and the current version of EZdrummer I’ve run both the 32-bit update as well as the 64-bit update. I’m using Windows 7, 64bit laptop.
Thanks!
It sounds like a permission issue. Right-click on the sonar.exe and select ‘Run as administrator…’
