White Noise

SD3 has a lot of white noise. Does anyone else have this issues. Mac book pro 15 inch, Universal Audio. No other AU instruments have any noise.

No noise here. Perhaps you’re experiencing some  coreaudio overload. Check everything from sample buffer size to disk traffic.

I had that “white noise” too and found out the reason: Tape Simulator PlugIn in SD3 Mixer was used on one channel. Switched it off, no more noise was there.

Also make sure you’re not loading your kits in 16 bits. It saves RAM but the noise is nasty.
