So I just upgraded from the original EZ Drummer to EZ Drummer 2. In the original version, there used to be a “Velocity” control next to Humanize. When dropping down grooves into the project, I could increase or decrease the velocity of the overall groove. Where is that control in EZ Drummer 2?
Hi,
it works a bit differently in EZdrummer 2.
at the top of the Browser and Search pages, you have a Velocity slider, which lets you increase and decrease velocity while you preview grooves and the previewed value also gets written to the MIDI file when you drop it on the Song Track or in your DAW.
When a groove is on the Song Track, you can double-click it to open the Edit Play Style window. There you can select all drums or specific ones and use the Velocity knob to increase or decrease velocity of that groove.

Thanks a lot John. I was going crazy trying to find it. Same way when Microsoft comes out with new versions of Windows and everything has been moved around. Thanks again.
