    Hi,

I was accustomed to using EZDrummer 1.

There was 2 faders : SNARE B and SNARE T, making it very easy to tune the snare sound.

Now, in EZDrummer 2, only one fader does exist for the Snare.

So where did go the SNARE B and SNARE T faders in EZDrummer since version 1 ?

Without these 2 faders, I cannot get the correct snare sound I need.

    Thanks 😉

    EZdrummer version: 2.2.2
Operating system: macOS High Sierra (10.13)

It is dependent on which preset is in use, some have SD Top and SD Bottom, some don’t. For example EZDrummer 2 Modern > Dry Rock does, EZDrummer 2 Modern > Basic does not.

Oh, OK, I see ! Thank you very much.

Considering the fact that EZDrummer allows to use snare sounds from other libraries, would I have to load an EZDrummer 2 Modern > Dry Rock preset in order to have Snare Top and Bottom in the mixer, THEN load a snare from another Kit ? I think this seems ugly, because the snare that do not originally have SD T and B would not benefit from the second mixer track ?

Well, yes… if the EZX Preset you are using as your starting point does have a separate Top and Bottom Mic for the Snare and the EZX you are replacing the Snare also has the separate Mics, it will work. Loading a Snare from an EZX where there is no separate Bottom Mic, will simply not produce sound in that Mixer channel.
