You’d need to have either the Latin Percussion EZX or the Orchestral Percussion SDX to audition any of the percussion MIDI as that MIDI doesn’t translate to the drum MIDI.

Now, if I were to purchase the Latin Cuban Percussion EZX, would it work with my ESD2? Do I have to obtain the Latin Percussion EZX or the Orchestral Percussion SDX as well in order to hear and use the drums? Please clarify. Thanks

Latin Cuban Percussion EZX is an EZD2 expansion. So if you have EZD2, it will work. The older Latin Percussion EZX also works with EZD2. The Orchestral Percussion SDX is a S3 expansion pack.

EZX expansion packs work in EZD2 or S3. SDX expansion packs only work in S3.
