Hi. I’d like to send another member of my band the preset for my exdrummer kit. Is there a file located somewhere on my computer that I can copy and send to him so he doesn’t have recreate it manually? For that matter can anyone point me in the right direction to find any user preset files in my computer for my DAW? If I create a VST preset whether for FX or VSTi I would image it would create a file somewhere wouldn’t it? I can’t seem to find any. Please help.
Hi,
if you click the orange Library Preset drop-down menu, then User Presets; you have an entry for ‘Manage in Finder/Explorer’.
Clicking this opens up the folder in Finder if you’re on Mac and the Explorer if you’re on Windows. These are the EZdrummer 2 User Presets that you can send to your friend.
As for DAW specific presets files, you will probably find faster answers asking for this on your DAW’s Forum, since this may be handled very differently from DAW to DAW.

Thanked by: browomirHi,
I have a similar problem, I found the “manage in finder/explorer” option but when I click nothing happens, the windows explorer simply won´t open!
I´m on PC Win10. Any solutions for that?
Thanks
Herb
EDIT: Problem solved, turning off the antivirus/ firewall helped!
My “manage in Explorer” option doesn’t open to anything, and I have no clue how to access the user presets or even SAVE my user presets! Everytime I press save I recieve an alert messasge that reads “could not save the preset, failed to write disk.” I use PC Windows 11.
