Hi, new to EZD so this may be a dumb question, but I just bought EZD and got a free midi pack w/ it, so I picked the Pop Punk one. I see it under the Grooves tab, but in the Drum tab, I don’t see any of the 3 kits that are supposed to be included
See screenshot – On the top right I have the 3 room options (main, bright, tight), then further to the right that dropdown has an option for Drum Kits, but only shows Empty, Studio, Singer-Songwriter. Where can I see the 3 kits included w/ this pack (orange county, sjc, sjc heirloom)? Thanks!
So the free MIDI pack you got was the Pop Punk pack. MIDI packs do not contain kits or sounds, it’s only a MIDI pack that appears in the Grooves Browser.
In addition to Toontrack MIDI packs, there are EZX expansion libraries that include both MIDI and kit sounds.

Before purchasing, I noticed in the forums that this causes a lot of confusion for customers, that’s why I made sure to pick a pack that had kits – the product page literally shows 3 kits included, x number of sounds for each drum, cymbal, etc. (and indicates that the grooves are kind of a footnote) – so I’m really confused. What am I missing?
In your first post you say “but I just bought EZD and got a free midi pack w/ it, so I picked the Pop Punk one.”
In your account, you have the Pop Punk MIDI pack listed as a product you own not the EZX. The EZX has kits. The MIDI pack does not.

Ohhh ok, sorry I guess I was confused by both products having the same “Pop Punk” name. Thanks for clarifying.
