Im new to EZD and there are a few channels on the mixer, I’m not really sure of what they are. A little help would be much appreciated.
The ‘Amb’ channel, I assume this would be what’s generally called ‘Room mics’, am I correct? Just to be sure…
Then there is a ‘Comp’ channel, my instinct tells me this would be parallel compression, but the mixer I’m using now has no compressor in the effects section, so I’m a little confused… Is this parallel compression and if so, does it work since there’s no compressor, or is this something else?
And then there’s a ‘One Shot’ channel, and honestly, this is the first time in over 25 years of recording and mixing I’ve come across this name… What exactly is this?
