As the title of plugin indicates, this is for guitar/drum audio, not MIDI, correct?
I’ll likely hold off on this install, at least for now. I’d be using drum & piano MIDI to create grooves.

ezbass is a rip off. nothing works as advertised. wasted $179.00 BUCKS for a product that does not function as advertised. no more Toontrack products for me I want a refund.
Even audio sender doesn’t work for me in studio one.To many false triggers and such.Ezbass is in its infancy but no way should it have been released yet.I bought mine for $149 at Sweetwater.I buy all my software but a buddy got a crack version already and deleted it saying the midi tracking is the worst.I feel like I was scammed.Been buying Toontrack products since Superior drummer 1.I hope they fix this and fast.

I’ve been getting stellar results. Set the key globally and it’s a no brainer. I loop the section in the daw I’m working on, highlight it and shop grooves. It either fits or I change some chords around using the snipper tool and chord wheel. Super EZ?!!!
If your looking for the drag and drop instant bassline you will be disappointment. Too many variables, I didn’t get good results with that method. I prefer to build out my drum and bass loops anyway.

Is 1.0.4 out? Do you all keep your music computers constantly online? Do you open the Manager everyday?
I wish Toontrack & others would send notifications of updates via email.
1.0.4 is out! Currently you should check the forum, or check the Product Manager once in a while to see new updates. We will see if we can announce future updates for our users in some way! Thanks for the input.

I use a Steinberg interface (Until my SSL is shipped) and after installing this I had some feedback loop issues and everything was rendering mono. I finally tracked it down to the driver. It had been switched to mono? also a box was checked for feedback loop. Basically if i plugged my guitar in and tried to use any amp Sim all hell broke loose. I just want to make people aware so if you experience this you don’t loose a day like I did.

I’m using it with Cakewalk too, just installed it. How is the drag and drop MIDI function working for you? I saw someone say it doesn’t work well because there are too many variables and they suggest programming your own bass…but that defeats the purpose. People buy EZBass and EZDrummer because they don’t know how to program drums or bass manually and if you can do that then why waste the money on Toontrack products when there’s a dozen free drum and bass programs out there?
