weird ezd with protools

I don’t if this is an ezd thing or a pro tools thing. I was recording edrums in protools 11.3and whenever I tried to rerecord a take. It would add midi to the previous take instead of writing over it. This never happened before. I would have to get rid of takes that I wasn’t sure about just to get a new take. Bizarre!!!

Hi,

I think you’ve got the MIDI Merge button on in Pro Tools. It’s a small “bent” arrow on the button and you should find it on the Transport window, close to the playback controls.
