Way to drag MIDI from DAW to EZD?

I know we can use the edit play style on 3rd party midi, but does it need to be in out browser folder first? I cant seem to drag grooves INTO EZD from my DAW.

EDIT: Ah, I think I found out that this is what the ‘record’ is for.

Some hosts down’t allow Drag and Drop directly into Plug-ins. Logic is an example. You can always save the MIDI file to your hard drive and then Drag and Drop into EZdrummer. Record also works as you found out.
