I’ve been jamming on the New York Vol 3 SDX, using the Simply Dry present, and on the first floor tom (the second tom), I’m hearing radio noises in the background of the tom samples, as if the radio was on in the other room while they were recording these samples. At first, I thought it could possibly be that my Roland TD-50 module was some how picking up radio frequencies, but if you hit the drum at the same velocity, you can hear the samples being cycled with the same radio samples in the background… The radio noise are very low volume
These were done quite a few years ago so doubt anyone would remember. There were quite a few anomalies with the older sample libraries

Thanked by: RollieIt’s not a huge issue since it’s super quiet and you wouldn’t hear it in recordings, but I thought someone should know.
It’s not quiet that uncommon. I remember hearing a drum throne squeek at the tail end of a sample on one of the metal EZX’s. Make’s it more real, even though you would NEVER hear it.
