Wanting to hear effects while playing not just on playback

I want to be able to hear effects while I’m playing but just can’t work it out. (I’m using cubase Le,I think 10.5) can anyone help please.

EZmix version: 2.1.5
Operating system: Windows 10

Turn off Direct Monitoring in Cubase if it’s on.
