VSTs Not Showing Up in My DAW on MacBookPro M1Max

EZDrummer, EZKeys and EZBass will NOT load as VSTs into Reason 12 on my new MacBookPro M1Max (OS Montery), yet Superior Drummer and all EZX Sound Expansions installed with zero issue. They appear as stand-alone ONLY in the Applications folder. Everything was installed properly in Reason 12 on my old iMac (OS Big Sur) and ran great for years. I installed them all the same way via Toontrack Product Manager and I’ve done this many times over the years (been a Toontrack user for 10 years). I also cannot find an Uninstaller so I can start over (Uninstall is greyed out in the Product Manager). This has been incredibly time consuming and frustrating and it is holding up sessions. Please provide a solution for Uninstall so I can start cleanly, or help me direct the DAW to wherever the VST might have landed. Again, all of these components worked fine together on the previous machine.

EZbass should work. Does Product Manager say that it is fully installed?

Thanks for the rapid response. That is disappointing. After I posted this, I found an Uninstall procedure and removed EZBass from the M1Max. Upon attempting a fresh install, I was trapped in a loop. EZBass installed but it would not allow me to install Updates without first updating to the latest version of EZBass, yet Product manager was not providing that update as an option.

Okay, you need to click Show Details and launch the installer for the latest software update (1.1.2). When there is a Customize button in that installer, click it and select the plug-in formats you want installed. Sorry about that, the PM needs to be improved for this scenario.

Thanks! Successfully reinstalled EZBass. It’s still not showing up in Reason (though it is as stand-alone in the Applications folder), so I’m assuming it has the same issues as the other EZProducts in Reason. Superior is working perfectly with the EZ expansions so I’m baffled.

If you temporarily remove EZdrummer.vst and EZkeys.vst from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST, maybe the Reason plug-in scanner won’t freeze at startup and it will successfully validate EZbass. We have found EZbass to work in Reason 12 on Monterey.
