I just bought and installed SD3. The standalone works great, but when I try to use the VST in my DAW, all I get is a small box with a Plugin menu and a Programs menu. Not getting any sound out of it, either. I’m running it on Samplitude Pro X on Windows 10 if that matters. Thanks.
Hi,
I am not familiar with Samplitude Pro X but I assume it is a 64-bit DAW?
Do you have any other host other than the SD3 standalone or Samplitude Pro X to try to load the VST in?

I don’t have any other host. It works great as a standalone, just not in the DAW. It is a 64-bit DAW. Should I try uninstalling and starting from scratch?
Yes, please try that but not with the Sound Library, just the SD3 software.
Does Samplitude have a “blacklist” and/or a plug-in manager where you can reset & rescan plug-ins? If so, please do that after the re-installation.

Ever have one of those moments where you’ve tried everything you can think of and nothing works? Then it turns out to be the stupidest little problem? I switched everything to a new laptop not long ago, and all this time I’ve been using Samplitude, I thought I was running the 64-bit version. Up to this point, that wasn’t a problem. Which is why I didn’t realize I was using the 32-bit version. Now that I’ve switched over to the correct one, SD3 works like a champ! Sorry to waste time on a dumb issue, but you’ve been very helpful, John. Thank you so much.
