Volume Up/Down keyboard buttons reset track to start of a song

So this is a weird one. This happens on both my desktop and laptop, but each time I use the volume up/down buttons on my keyboard, the “timer cursor” or the grid needle (sorry, I actually have no idea what it’s called) resets back to the start of the track.

Is this a bug or is there an assigned shortcut key I can change? Drives me bonkers!

Hi,

strange indeed. I would start by checking the Keyboard Shortcuts in the SD3 Settings.

Thanks. Turns out it was the “Move playhead to previous start” shortcut. It’s blank by default, but I just added in a shortcut and that’s fixed it.

Weird that it being blank would make it triggered by the volume up/down button.
