VERSION MISMATCH ERROR (though I am running the latest versions)

I’m getting the version mismatch error when I try and search for an instrument to add to a kit

(see picture)

My standalone and VST version both have the same issue and I’m running the latest version

Did you manually move the old dll as suggested in the error txt? So far this has been the reason why this error occurs. The user moves the dll to another fo,der instead of pointing the DAW to it. When you then do an update it doesn’t get removed so you get a mismatch.

SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Thanks – I a m running on a MAC

I solved this by downloading the relevant update to SD3 (for me this was 10.1 and above) on the product manager

And reinstalling it again
