I’ve noticed that when you use the Velocity knob in Edit Play style from the twelve O’ clock position and turn right, the tool tip reads 0 to 127, it you turn left it reads 0 to -127. Outside of EZD2 we typically have 127 dynamic values to work with. In EZD2 it seems we have 253. Does EZD2 utilize the extra non-standard velocity values? Maybe it is being told to pull additional samples, that maybe a DAW with only 127 Velocity levels cannot access?
In the manual when adjusting this knob, the only information it says is “The relative balance between velocity values in the groove will be retained.”
Any insight would be really cool, thank you!
