When you select an instrument, all it’s articulations are selected. So when you edit something in a property box, like the velocity curve, you edit the curve for all those articulation.

The feedback you get in the boxes are for the topmost articulation of the selected ones, and if you are previewing another articulation, that information won’t be visible. Can this be what causes your issues?

For example, if you preview the snare center by hitting a e-drum snare, or a keyboard key – and select the Snare Center articulation, the green dot should be visible.

Ok it seems anything that uses “CC/Triggers zone trigger” won’t monitor unless you select “zone trigger” in all articulation drop down.

This is why all the EZD line was working but none of the SD line except for NY hit factory, which very strangely has no zone trigger but NY allaire does and they are from the same pack, very odd???

once zone trigger is selected it will monitor centre, off centre & edge but if you want to monitor rimshot, side stick or rim only, they will need to be selected individually

thanks for pointing me in the right direction
