using the mixer in EZ Drummer

I want to create 3 drum tracks in ProTools 7.4 using the mixer in EZ Drummer (so I can pan the cymbals, etc). Should I use EZ Drummer as an Instrument insert on all 3 tracks? And when I drag a groove to the edit window will it only place the particular drum I choose (ie.snare)? I tried it and all of the drums are going into each track, even though I defined Track 1 as Kick, Track 2 as Snare, and Track 4 as HiHat. Thanks for any advice.

Hi,

you create Stereo Aux Tracks in the Pro Tools mixer and set their Inputs to one of the available EZdrummer plugin outputs. There will be seven outputs available since the first Stereo Output resides in the Stereo Instrument Track where you inserted the EZdrummer plugin.

Do not forget to assign the outputs accordingly in the EZdrummer mixer.
