Sorry for the rookie question. I have a Roland TD-50 that I have connected to my PC via USB that I use for recording through Reaper Pro. Superior Drummer is amazing with the options offered . I purchased a Behringer XAir XR-18 that I want to start using for live and recording purposes. How would I connect the Roland to this so that the Behringer would be able to be able to use the kit sounds available in Superior Drummer and allow me to record ?
Hi, I’m trying same setup with a td27. It works but you have to deal with latency when using superior drummer. I finally boght a presonus studio 192 a week ago as audio interface for lowering the latency. Going to check it out the coming weeks, so I can give you more advices.
So if you want to check out your configuration, you have to connect your xr 18 via usb to your computer an choose it as your interface for output. The other way could be to choose your td50 as your interface as well. All this depends on what your goal is. Do you want seperate outputs in your xr18?

Thank you so much ! The idea would
be to have my TD-50 as well as any other instruments plug into the XR-18. I can then record as the signal is already coming into Reaper . I can also have the Drums use Superior Drummer for the Sound . There wouldn’t be 2 interfaces as the Roland module and all other instruments are going into the XR-18 . This can also be used to push the signal to a PA ( or in ear monitors ) for live sound and have the drums change easily using Superior Drummer’s vast sound library . Hope I am describing this right . I am new at this .

It seems to be possible but only if you have a td-50x
