Using SD3 Tracks in Cubase

I must be missing something. I have read through the entire online manual but can’t figure it out.

I am creating songs in SD3 (love it BTW) from inside Cubase. I add an instrument track in Cubase, choose SD3 which opens the SD3 program. Now I can create a drum patterm in SD3 that I want to use, but how do I get it into Cubase in a way that still allows me to edit in SD3? IS this possible? It was easy in SD2 but can’t figure it out in SD3. What am I missing?

Using Cubase Artsit 9 in Win 10 environment.

I figured out how to drag tracks from SD3 into Cubase, but they don’t play correctly … it adds weird cymbal hits and extra kicks, etc. Very strange! Anybody have any ideas?

OK, it looks like Cubase was bugging out on me. It is working now. 🙂
