Using individual drums from SDX's within a kit

    Select a drum, right click and select Search for Instrument…

    In there, you can find and add all instruments from all your libraries 🙂 The filter section will help you, to (for example) see all snares from New York Studios Vol.1 SDX.

    You can also select to stack the instruments, replace other positions etc. from Search from Instrument. These extra features are found in the More menu in the bottom right corner.

    I’m not in front of my pc but the answer is yes. You can build a kit starting with SD3 kit and change parts out from any other kit. Same goes for any kit and any drum position

    SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
