I have figured out how to use impact XT as a drum replacement tool. Ill leave a link to a video for that. What I want to do is use EZDrummer2 to do the exact same thing. However when I try that, It doesn’t seem to work. As in, I don’t hear any difference in the sound. And I cant seem to figure out how to select a particular part of the instrument such as just kicks, or snares, etc.

Since no one has commented yet, here are some ideas.
Unfortunately if you want to do something like this with Toontrack software I think upgrading to Superior drummer is your only option. I’m not saying for sure though. It’s a different workflow, but equally as effective.
Can Impact XT pass-thru the midi it’s receiving from Studio 1? If so, maybe you could record that midi, and then feed that new midi track to EZD2.
Or if Impact XT can pass-thru midi, maybe you can ask EZD2 to use Impact XT as it’s Midi Input.
May want to reference Studio 1/Impact XT forums or support if you want to investigate the later.
These are just theories.
