Using EZDrummer 2 expansion packs with the original EZDrummer software

Hi, this is my first time on the forum.  I have a quick question;  I’m using the original EZdrummer software which I bought years ago, I bought some expansions packs when I bought the software and they work fine.  My question is I’m wanting to buy some of the newer EZdrummer 2 expansions packs, will they run on my old version of EZdrummer/are the new expansion packs backwards compatible?  Or will I need to upgrade to Ezdrummer 2 to run the newer packs?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

All EZXs will show the minimum requirements on the product pages. All EZXs produced since EZD2 was released require at least EZD2 to run.
