Using EZ Drummer 2 to create drums from actual songs

New to EZ Drummer 2 and have bought a few expansion packs to go along with it.  Just wondering if there is a way to use this program where it would build an actual drum track from a song by a real artist. In other words, lets say if I want it to recreate an Iron Maiden drum track, bar by bar, how would a person go about doing this?  I know you could do it manually but is there a way to find a drum track (stem) off the internet and then import it into the program?

I realize the more expansion or midi packs a person has, the better to recreate all sorts of drum beats, fills, etc.  Just curious if this is even possible? Thx

Ressurecting an old thread but this is what I do to get Maiden/other drum tracks. – It’s not perfect but see what you think

Guitar Pro
Your DAW (I use Reaper)

Website:
UltimateGuitar

– Find the tab you want in Protab format on Ultimate Guitar.  Scroll to the bottom and click on “Download GuitarPro Tab”.

– Open this file in GuitarPro
– Export as a Midi file
– Open this Midi file in your DAW (Drag and Drop works in Reaper)
– Assign EzDrummer as the FX for the Drum track.

That’s pretty much it – Each track needs a little tweaking it’s good enough for my needs.
