Try not to get discouraged. Know that we all go through this when getting into pro audio workflows.

Pics below to find EZD3 in GB and replace the current plug in with it. Simply tap on the Blue EZ Drummer bar to see the interface.

Also, go to Menu>Garageband>Preferences>AudioMidi>Devices. Select your interface here.

Thank you, but I’ve already been there. Here’s a screen shot of the parameter list that opens when I choose ED3 from the plugin list, along with the MIDI input preferences, which doesn’t include ED3. I would think when opening ED3, I would get the regular interface window.

Also here’s a screenshot that shows the ‘Enable Audio Units’ box checked and greyed out so it can’t be changed. It wasn’t like that yesterday before I got ED3 into my plugin list.

    Ugh!

As for your interface. Even if your interface is powered by USB and has lights on. I recommend, before wasting any more time thinking about it, replace the USB cable. More so with a short USB cable. If it still doesn’t work, then continue your search for a solution.

If you’re still stuck, I recommend seeking Mac support or the brand of your interface’s support.

    Best of luck!
