Is it possible to use Beatstation with a Roland TD20 edrumkit. For example can I assign sound to my drumpads and will the VH12 hi-hat work properly?
Hi,
Beatstation pads are not assignable like Superior 2 is, so I would not recommend trying to use it with E-drums.
E-drum HH:s are not supported.

That’s a real shame that edrum support is lacking.
Do you have any plans to change this?
As an SD2.0, EZ drummer and Beastation owner with all the EZXs I pre-ordered Beatstation with the specific hope that this would at last be the chance for me to design my own kits for use with a TD20 without having to use Battery as the only real option.
It’s torture to see Beatstattion’s potentail but to be thrown back into the same hihat and drum mapping nightmare we’ve all endured before the likes of EZ drummer, SD, BFD and Addictive drums existed.
I guess it’s back to NI’s battery – what a shame!
I realy don’t get what you are trying to do with this product – it’s neither fish nor fowl.
To me it smacks of Cakewalk’s Kinetic which I bought when it came out and ultimatley never got used as it wasn’t a patch on Reason and did nothing new or remarkable.
I think you are really limiting the massive potential this could have as an edrummer’s ultimate solution for creating original kits and I just don’t get who this product is aimed at.
