Hello !
I use EZmix3 as well a BIAS FX. With Bias FX I can use a footswitch midi controller to change presets.
I’m not seeing anything available in the EZmix3 program and I am wondering if I’m just looking in the wrong places or if it has to be programmed in the DAW itself. With Bias FX I can simply configure my MIDI device.
If it’s not something possible, this would be a feature request as it is great to rehearse and play with friends.
Thanks for your time
If it’s the same midi controller for both programs, that could be a conflict on it’s own.
I don’t see in standalone where a midi controller can be added.
In a DAW many attributes of EZMix can be controlled via midi.

My usual approach (in Reaper), is to add multiple instances of Ezmix and automate the bypass of each. Mostly I’m happy to let the DAW control the switching during playback but for on the fly switching during guitar practice, I added time markers with keyboard shortcuts to an empty project and use a foot controller that supports character entry. Bit of a faff to set up initially but works well enough.
With Ezmix3, you only need single instance as each slot has a bypass switch although for some reason Reaper doesn’t default the shape to step (minor irritation, just has to be done manually for each automation instance).
