Would that make any difference to the sound at all when recording/re-playing?
Just curious about this when getting a new computer/OS in the near future.
No difference in sound. A 64-bit OS in conjunction with a 64-bit host and the 64-bit version of EZdrummer or S2 will allow for more RAM access than the 32-bit version. More RAM equals more samples you would be able to load. This would be more for S2 because some libraries have more than 4+ GB of samples for some kits if you load all layers and all bleed options. EZD is much more RAM friendly to start with.

Thanks for quick replay and it answers my question so that I will most probably get a 64-bit OS. Thanks again!
Hi, Robin,
I would strongly suggest you have at least minimum of 8GB of RAM in your new machine, preferably 16GB, or even more.
When I changed from a 32bit to a 64bit setup I was so relieved not have to worry about RAM usage. Using a 32bit operating system (talking about Windows) you can utilise up to 1.7 or so GB of RAM, a bit more with a particular tweak.
My 8GB of RAM at the moment is enough for my way of working.
Good luck,
Mauri.
