Short answer: no. The number of instruments is fixed in EZd2. Option to add instruments, change MIDI note numbers, and a ton of more features, are things you can do in Superior Drummer 3.

I get it… That’s something I should have thought before buying EZD2. Is there any way to “upgrade” from EZD to Superior Drummer? Or are we talking completely independent softwares?

    Thanks again,

    Jorge

Yes, we have a Crossgrade option 🙂

    Thanks Henrik!

It’s still a lot of money for what I need now… I’ll try to do my best with EZD2 and then we’ll see in the future (also because my actual MacBookAir couldn’t handle that much information). It would be a major upgrade.

If you are using a DAW of some sort you may be able to route the MIDI to two instances of EZ2 and get two hihats in that way.

Didn’t think about it… I’m using Garageband. But I’m not sure if I have all that flexibility into it. Thanks for the idea!
