USER FOLDER & SUB FOLDER – saying empty ?

Hello, on EZ Bass, when working in the Grid Editor, then switching to Add Grooves, in the User fold {and i created a sub folder} and copied in some EZBP files but whilst in EZ Bass {in Pro Tools as an insert on a stereo inst track} the user & sub folders are saying empty ? Anything Ive missed ? NB: I see in the user folder option to sync files on disk ?????? & sync file change ??????  I haven't a clue what this is and how to see these files in the folder{s} when editing in EZ Bass ?

EZBP files (project files) do not belong to the User Libraries and its subfolders. You should place .mid files there.

Just drag&drop a midi part from your EZbass Song Track into and rename it (right click and rename file > name). You can also copy a midi file with the file explorer.

The Sync File option is for updating your organization if you e.g. have renamed your subfolders or just have placed new .mid files with the file explorer.

Thank you Mazuwa, great help really appreciated. One quick one, in EzB in both AUDIO TRACKER, GRID EDITOR & SONG TRACK … THE CURSER IS 1/4 ahead out of sync, bit annoying !!! Audio Tracker seems musically {newly created bass} to be also out of sync, again annoying, any thoughts ? Thanks again, Nige7.

It has to to with the audio card driver you are currently using.

You should have an ASIO driver installed and selected. Best one is from the original manufacturer. But if it doesn’t exist and you are using only a simple soundcard you can use the ASIO4ALL driver.

With the standalone version of EZbass go to SETIINGS > Audio/Midi Setup and change the Audio device driver to ASIO (not WASAPI or DirectSound) and check if the input / output channels are set correctly.

The Plugin version of EZbass (like VST) is using the settings from your DAW software, so you need to change it there.

Thanks yet again Mazuwa for advice. Current set up is {in pro tools}; Playback engine = M BOX and currently using {there is also a windows audio device}. I have seen the ASIO4ALL  I had it {on my last pc set} but kept using M Box {as advised by pro tools and as I`ve had a ton of previous trouble getting my set up to work so I`m a bit ??? over putting in ASIO4ALL but will try to find it ? and see how things go after stating what current MBox playback engine driver I`ve currently got and using?

PS, If you know the best place to get the ASIO4ALL from that would be appreciated, thanks again, Nige7.

I never have had MBOX. But this is not a simple standard soundcard, so I would go with the original AVID (Digidesign) driver and check the settings then.
