Upgrading from EZdrummer1 to EZdrummer2 still possible?

Hi,

I know that since last year (31 december 2015) upgrading from EZdrummer 1 to EZdrummer 2 is not possible anymore via the toontrack site.
However, i have found a store that sell EZdrummer 2 upgrade codes, digital and/or via a card.. Can i still buy that and will it upgrade? Or is upgrading simple not possible anymore?

Short answer: Yes
If you register an upgrade code for EZdrummer 2 (or EZmix 2 for that matter) to your Toontrack account it will upgrade your version 1 correctly.
