EZD3 does not physically replace EZD2. So all of your EZD2 project will remain as-is, unless you uninstall EZD2.

If you do not upgrade yo EZD3, you will not be able to use any EZXs that have come out since May 2022.

New features (off the top of my head, there’s more)
    Midi Replace
Grid Editor (also with Humanize feature)
    Bandmate
    Multiple Song Tracks
    One-Shot Sample imports
    Resizable and 4k compatible interface!
    Bunch of small workflow improvements.

    Overview here.

I believe if you log into your account at toontrack.com and add EZD3 to your shopping cart, it should give you the option to upgrade for $99USD.
