The EZD1 to EZD2 upgrade was discontinued in December 2015. You would need to purchase the regular EZD2.

Okay, one last question then. If I buy and install EZDrummer 2, no parts of my current EZDrummer (which I paid for) are used? It then becomes trash to be uninstalled?

    Thank you.

No, it is not trash. If you already have EZD1 installed and then install EZD2, you will still have access to the EZD1 Pop/Rock kits in the EZD2 library menu as well as all of the EZD1 MIDI will appear in the EZD2 MIDI browser.

Okay that is what I was wondering, if the presets etc. in EZDrummer were somehow incorporated into EZDrummer 2. That would make sense. I actually bought EZDrummer a couple of years ago at least, but never really used it until recently. The drum sounds and the number of variations is really quite remarkable. Perfect for a track I’m currently working on.

    Thanks for the info.
