Ok I finally caved in and upgraded ez drummer 2 because metal! couldn’t be installed in Ez drummer 1. A few Questions!
1) do i have to uninstall ez drummer 1 when i install ez drummer 2?
2) after installing ez drummer 2 w/Ez drummer 1 already installed previously.. i now have on my PC desktop the old toontrack solo 32 and a new EZ drummer icon.
Can i delete/uninstall the old toontrack solo 32 without any problems?
3) After SUCCESSFULLY installing METAL! EZX expansion and Metal machine EZX expansion in ez drummer 2. I noticed after opening up ez drummer 2, when i go to the top to change the entire drum kit i do see metal and metal machine.. (entire drum kit) BUT when I am using ez drummer 2 modern kit and want to change each individual drum kit .. for example i go to snare kit, toms, cymball etc.. all i see is metal machine… no metal! ? what’s going on?
4) when i open up a previous project where i used ez drummer 1( i usually multi out so each drum kit is on it’s own track) now when i open up the project.. only 3 tracks are used? and can i multi-out each individual drum kit to separate tracks in ez drummer 2?
5) after i decide the midi and the groove.. i want to move the midi from inside ez drummer 2 to the midi on the track like the way it was in ez drummer 1.. how do i do this?
PLEASE DON”T IGNORE my QUESTIONS>
I am waiting for your support and response.
thank you

correction for 1) i downloaded all ezdrummer 2 files and upgrades.. i didn’t download or install any ez drummer 1 files this time
Hi,
if it’s not showing up, how comes it is Authorized in your account? Not trying to be a wise-ass here, just curious.

it shows up but the individual kits aren’t. i thought i clearly stated that.
again to clarify. Metal! has been installed and it works BUT on my ezd2.. you can’t use metal! individual kits when you are using a different ezx drum kit.
OK,
sorry I mis-read and misunderstood what happened after your re-installation.
If what’s shown in those pictures still is valid, I think you need direct contact with Support rather than assistance via the Forum. Did you open a Ticket according to Scott’s instructions?

OK I was having the same problem but I figured out how to select individual kits .
Just act as if you are going to select an individual drum and see the kit menu in the lower left … it’s a little buried so tisk risk on the programmer … but it is there. See screen shot I uploaded.
I have ez drummer 2.1.8 /x64 version /and only one expansion pack – ezx metal ! 1.5.8 and were all updates instaled.
EZX kit pieces not being selectable in the kit piece menu – up in orange field.
When is select pack metal – i can go to /basic, tape, original mix and ezd 1 mixer present/ and only from ezd 1 mixer present can I go to /default, compresed, dry , tail off and route off/.
where are kits ? /big crack kit, fat modern room kit and those others???/
thanks

The kit presets (Mark Lewis, Jason Suecof, Daniel Bergstrand) are not loaded from the Orange menu. Only from the Kit menu as shown.
The link you provided is for use in EZD1. It was changed in EZD2.
Please see this FAQ and video for preset handling in EZD2.
