Upgrade to EZD 2 from 1?

Im on a macbook pro 2016 MOJAVE. Just bought EZdrummer 2 months ago. If I upgrade to EZD2 will all my expansion packs work with it? will it upgrade EZD1 or be a totally different program? Is there a compelling reason to upgrade? Im using this with UAD LUNA…will it work? Thanks!

I’ve seen in people’s signatures that they use the latest version of EZD2 (2.1.8) in Mojave. I wouldn’t know though.

I know the cocktail kit will work. Any older EZX that you see in the Toontrack store will work since it will be upgraded/patched in the product Manager. I’m not sure if there’s any EZD1 EZXs that are specific to EZD1 other than Cocktail.

A google search shows it working with LUNA with no problem. Some users say multi-outputs are not routing.

EZD2 is not completely different if you’re talking about learning curve from EZD1. But the new features introduced in EZD2 would require time to learn, and worth it IMO.
