Updated EZD 2 and now won’t work

I have been using EZD2 for months now with no issue, then today I started noticing that certain midi notes were not activating the correct drum hit. Sometimes midi notes wouldnt sound at all. So, I decided to update EZD2. Now, Logic pro 9 will not open it at all. I tried running the plugin manager in Logic several times but keep getting this window.

I uninstalled EZD2 and pulled the component out. Reinstalled it and the latest update… but nothing.

I followed the instructions and sent the listed file to the trash can. I then opened Logic and it asked to do a scan of the plugins. After it game me the same warning window about incompatible plugins and asked me if I wanted to run “Audio Units Manager”. I allowed it to do so and now all of the plugin except the “Apple” plugins are missing and cannot be opened. At this point a bad situation just got much worse.

Is there a way I can just go back to before I tried to update? At this point I’ll take the occasional midi not not playing. To say I’m a bit freaked at where all my plugs went is an understatement.

Hi,

if deleting the AU cache makes all plugins but Apple plugins incompatible, there’s something else at play on your system than the EZdrummer 2 update going wrong.

Which exact OS version are you on? Logic 9 version?
