I hope this hasnt been asked and answered before, I could not find anything when I checked. Anyway I finally got round to updating the SD3 SDX library to v1.1.3 but the update fails saying that ‘CrashBig-Unloaded_L45.png could not be copied. I checked in the relevant folder and the modified date is actually the time and date I tried updating so something has got copied – but I cannot open the file to look at it as it is corrupt, so I guess the copy got interrupted somehow. It also says the update is finished with some errors when I cancel out of the update. Thing is I now dont know if anything else has been missed but I do know that when I load SD3 kits I no longer get images of the kits loaded.
Has anyone else had this problem or know if there is a workaround. Thanks.
What error does it say in the installer log? You can open it from the File menu in the installer.

2019-11-08 08:22:53: Error: Copy error 0x17: Data error (cyclic redundancy check).
2019-11-08 08:22:53: Error: Failed to copy file to "D:\Toontrack\Superior Drummer 3\SL-SuperiorDrummer3\GraphicsV3\Cymbal\CrashBig-Unloaded_L45.png"
CRC error – it could mean a bad sector on the D: disk.

Thanked by: Richard KittNo, I thought that meant to do a repair? Should I still use /r if it found no errors.
It seems like /r is needed for it to check for bad sectors. “Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information.”

Thanked by: Richard KittOK thanks for that. As the the disk is in use I have set it to check when the system next restarts.
Hi Olof. Finally got round to running chkdsk /r . Anyway the update is now complete, many thanks for your advice.
