update doesn´t show up in Vst plug-ins, cubase 5

    I guess I did wrong from the beginning to move the ezdrummer.dll manually.

    Yes, this.

    Moving the .dll will break any future updates as the update will search for the original install location to apply the update. When the .dll isn’t there anymore the update obviously can’t install properly.

    2 options.

    First, choose the ‘Custom’ install and you can choose where the .dll gets installed in the first place.

    Second, install to the default location and set the path to the .dll location from inside your host.

    I am afraid I have to reinstall the whole toontrack because this doesn´t work.
    What I have done earlier is to remove the old .dll and replace it with the update .dll
    So everytime I updated I moved the .dll to the vst folder inside cubase 5.
    This time when I did a custom install, I choose vst folder but the .dll ended up in program folder and no map.
    It is a mess…
