update doesn´t show up in Vst plug-ins, cubase 5

Hi,
I downloaded the ez drummer update 1.2.1 and installed it. I then manually moved the ezdrummer.dll to the VSTPlugins map inside Cubase 5 map.
When I open the cubase and check the Plug-in Information, I can read that it is the version 1.0.0.0 ???

I guess I did wrong from the beginning to move the ezdrummer.dll manually. From what I understand I should set the path in Plug-in information. Still this has worked before, I copy a new update of East west player the same way and that worked.

So far I have updated Ezplayer, Superior, Ezdrummer in 64-bit, but they all show Version 1.0.0.0 in the VST Plug-ins Information.
What could be wrong?

Yes, this.

Moving the .dll will break any future updates as the update will search for the original install location to apply the update. When the .dll isn’t there anymore the update obviously can’t install properly.

2 options.

First, choose the ‘Custom’ install and you can choose where the .dll gets installed in the first place.

Second, install to the default location and set the path to the .dll location from inside your host.

I am afraid I have to reinstall the whole toontrack because this doesn´t work.
What I have done earlier is to remove the old .dll and replace it with the update .dll
So everytime I updated I moved the .dll to the vst folder inside cubase 5.
This time when I did a custom install, I choose vst folder but the .dll ended up in program folder and no map.
It is a mess…
