The stand-alone program works fine but when opened from within my DAW (Studio One 3) a window tells me some MIDI packs will not load without an upgrade: “The version you should be using can be found at: C:\Program Files\VST2\Toontrack,” yet when I click “ok” the program runs anyway but minus anything in the “search” tab but another window with the same request. I check the Program Manager and it says everything is up to date and good to go. I visit this site and must sift through 12,000 queries about various problems but can’t find any info about updates the program manager is skipping over. I’ve waited 2 years for this outdated tech because I’m a foolish, starving college student and I’ve had to have 3 hours of assistance from Sweetwater to install it and now, $150 for EZD2 and $80 for the necessary VST support for the DAW later… and I am losing my freaking mind. The “SEARCH” function is HALF OF THIS APPLICATION!!
Um… sorry. I just want to improve dozens of my projects yesterday. Please, someone, help me before I throw away $230 and go back to the analog 4-track days.
