Hello everyone,
I have EZdrummer 1.2.1 64bit installed under Win 7 64bit.
As i understood from “ReadMe” that come with update (1.3.0), first, i have to install 32bit update and then 64bit.
The problem is when i installing 32bit update the installer closes (with no error message) after decompressing installation files. If i run then 64bit update, it seems to update the “ezdrummer.dll” only, but “POP/ROCK” kit remains at 1.2.1.
Did someone expirienced the same problem or it is something wrong with my system?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Looks like the application itself only, not the kit, is updated.
Does EZdrummer otherwise work normally?
Cheers,
Mauri.

Hi,
could you please try the following:
1) download the Full Download Installer from your account (if you have done so earlier, please do it again)
2) uninstall EZdrummer
3) Re-install from the Full Download Installer
4) apply the updates as earlier
BR,
John

Ok, i did the following:
1. Uninstalled EZdrummer (only – not EZXs)
2. Installed from my backup CD (version 1.2.0)
3. Installed update (version 1.3.0)
This worked!!!
Thank you very much!!!
P.S. I’m downloading now installer (as you suggested) and will try to install / update from download (isn’t it 1.2.0, as mine?)
Ok,
if you already are updated correctly, don’t run the Full Download Installer now.

Just to confirm:
I downloaded the installer (gr-r-r… its took quiet a few hours) and this exactly the same version as i have on my backup CD (EZdrummer 1.2.0 / EZX Cocktail 1.2.3), so there is really no reason to experiment.
I had this same problem – the 32-bit 1.3.0 updater would not run. I uninstalled EZdrummer and reinstalled from the “DVD” image then updated straight to 1.3.0. Worked fine.
I think there is a problem with the 1.3.0 updater that needs to be addressed. This should not be happening.
Hi,
I installed 1.3.0 (32bit) over the previous version without problems. Software can sometimes be like women…sorry girls, could’nt help meself;).
Cheers,
Mauri.
