Even at the most magnified resolution on the song track, I can’t place chord blocks where I want. There’s what amounts to a ‘snap to’ limitation. If I bring the MIDI performance into my DAW’s PRV, I can place/adjust things wherever I need, without limitation. I then record the MIDI back into EZKeys song track and I achieve what I’m trying to achieve, but can’t, inside EZKeys. It works, but is a tedious workaround.
Feature request: would it be possible to bypass that limitation (example: CTRL-Click drag) to allow the users to place chord blocks where we want?

I moved this into the feature request area.

I’m pretty much asking the same question but with a little more detail. Is there a way to show a smaller division of the timeline in song creator as I see it now I only see quarter note division. I may be missing something. I would like the division to be smaller i.e. 8th, 16th division etc when I lengthen the view the song creation line.

The more you zoom in on the timeline, the finer the beat divisions become.

Hi Scott, thanks for prompt reply, that’s what I discovered. Intuitive as well. I thought as much as soon as I wrote the question that I should try to lengthen the create track length and that solved it. I don’t know if this is possible but a function to bring song creation track outside of plugin GUI while still being in the plugin would be helpful. I might add that since I’m very new to EZKeys I might not have my rhythm workflow together which has me doing things intended for EZkeys in my DAW and vice versa. Great production tool though!
