uninstall ezdrummer before installing ezdrummer2

Is it best to uninstall ezdrummer before installing ezdrummer2, or can you just install it on top?

Hi,

while it is perfectly possible to install EZdrummer 2 over EZdrummer 1, I’d still like to advice you to uninstall EZdrummer 1 first. Don’t forget to install the Pop/Rock EZX after you have installed EZdrummer 2, to get the EZdrummer 1 sounds and MIDI.

I thought ezdrummer 1 already came with the POP/Rock ezx? If that’s not the case, I guess I would need to purchase another ezx before installing ezdrummer 2…?

EZdrummer 1 does have the Pop/Rock kits. However, John’s advise is to uninstall EZdrummer 1, so the Pop/Rock EZX would need to be installed. The Pop/Rock EZX should be in your account too download and install.
