As a standalone, EZD2 works fine. When I try running it in P.T.9 on my Mac Mini OSX 10.9.5 with 2.7GHz Int Core i7 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 I get this message:
UNEXPECTED ERROR
Please close all instances of EZ Drummer running on your computer and try again.

…Well, here I am. As close to “support” as I seem to get.
Anyone? I’m a basic novice & listed the stats on my Mac because that’s most always the follow-up question. My family’s never gonna see me once I get this show up & running… THAT’s the hard part…
Thank you.
Thank you,
Rob
Hi,
which version number is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 interface (lower right corner) in standalone?
Are you by any chance running the standalone at the same time as you launch Pro Tools and the plugin in Pro Tools?

2.1.1 (64 Bit)
I initially opened it as a stand alone. Then after playing with it a bit, decided to close it, restart my computer and go full PT. That’s when the error message stuff began…
Thank you,
Rob
Well,
it is an unsupported environment, so it may be several things. The first version of Pro Tools that supports OS X 10.9.5 is Pro Tools 11.3, so when you run PT 9 in that environment, it gets harder to pinpoint.
@which sample rate is your Session? What are your Playback Engine Settings?
Can you insert any other VI that loads a lot of data into RAM?
