Unable to use snare and kick pls help

I have a dtx 532k and it uses the 502 module. When I hit the snare it plays the ride bell and kick, if I hit the rimshot it plays a rimshot, the kick doesn’t register and the bow on the hihat plays the toms. I tried remapping it wouldn’t work, it only worked on the tom pads and cymbals and nothing else. Pls help.

Hi,

which Mapping Preset are you starting from? The ‘DTX5 Series’?

If you hit the Kick and you don’t see any MIDI activity on the Mapping page, you need to check if the module actually is sending the note or if you have faulty cables.
When you select an articulation for an instrument and then click ‘Learn’ and hit your trigger pad, you should more or less be ready to go.
