Hi I tried to use Garageband for the first time in ages, but found that when I loaded it up it reported that EZ Drummer wasn’t available, and asked me to select another instrument. Prior to this I had been using it fine, along with the Americana pack that I purchased too. Given that it has been some time since I used Garageband (a few months) I went to the App store and installed the latest version, then I uninstalled and reinstalled EZ Drummer from the purchase disk. I still get the same problem though, in that it doesn’t seem to recognise EZ Drummer as being installed at all, even though the uninstall and reinstall went without any reported errors. I logged into the Toontrack website and got the latest update to EZ Drummer, but when I tried to install that it said that there was no working version of EZ Drummer installed. I am still fairly new to Apple/OSX, although I have some 10+ years of using and supporting Microsoft operating system and software, so I’d like to think that I’m not doing something stupid, although that may well be the case. Any ideas why Garageband and the EZ Drummer updater seem to think that EZ Drummer isn’t installed, even though it appears to be?
